Hannah Machover is an artist and poet from London. Her work is often rooted in oral tales, myths and
anecdotes; stories are translated into small-scale
intricately pieced drawings, ceramic objects, writing and prints.
There
are recurring motifs in her work, including miniature prosceniums, doorways and birds in flight, all of
which gesture towards a space behind the image, inviting the viewer to look closely and carefully.
